Who we are

About LastPouch

We help adults who use nicotine pouches cut down and quit on their own terms, with tools that show their method and guides that show their sources.

Why LastPouch exists

Nicotine pouches are easy to start and easy to overuse: no smoke, no spit, no smell, a tin in every pocket. When people decide to stop, they search for the things nobody told them at the counter. How long does withdrawal last? Are my gums going to recover? Is 15 a day too many? Should I taper or just stop? The answers online are either a forum thread or a sales page. LastPouch sits in between: calculators that do the mg math and plan a quit date, and guides that answer the searched questions with the CDC, the FDA, NIH, smokefree.gov, Truth Initiative and peer-reviewed studies behind them.

Who writes it

LastPouch is made by Viral Labs, a small independent studio that builds consumer apps. The guides are written by the LastPouch team, and nobody on the team is a doctor, dentist or licensed counselor. That is why every guide names its sources, why we write "reported" when the evidence is a case series and "found" only when a study found it, and why every guide that touches withdrawal or health points you to the free quitline and to your own doctor.

Editorial and sources policy

Health disclaimer

LastPouch provides general information and planning tools for adults 21 and over. Nothing on this site is medical advice, diagnosis or treatment, and nothing here replaces a conversation with a doctor, dentist or pharmacist who knows your situation. Nicotine is addictive and no nicotine pouch is safe. If you are pregnant or breastfeeding, have a heart condition or high blood pressure, take medication, or have a history of depression or anxiety, talk to a doctor before changing your nicotine use. If you are in crisis, call or text 988 in the United States.

Free help for quitting any nicotine product: call 1-800-QUIT-NOW (1-800-784-8669) or text QUIT to 47848. Nicotine replacement (patch, gum, lozenge) and a doctor are reasonable options at any point in a quit.

Not for anyone under 21

The federal minimum age for buying any tobacco or nicotine product in the United States, including nicotine pouches, is 21. The CDC says nicotine can harm brain development, which continues until about age 25. This site is written for adults who already use pouches and want to stop; it is not for anyone under 21, and it never encourages anyone to start.

Trademarks and independence

ZYN is a trademark of its owner. LastPouch is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by the maker of ZYN or any other nicotine pouch brand, by any quit app, by any quitline or by any health agency named on this site. We use brand names only to describe the products readers ask about (nominative use). When a guide names a competing app, product or service, it carries this line: LastPouch is made by Viral Labs and is not affiliated with any pouch brand, quit app or health service named here.

The app

The LastPouch app is in development and is coming to Android first, then iPhone. It will log each pouch with its strength and brand from a home-screen widget, build a step-down or cold-turkey plan, run a craving timer, show the withdrawal timeline and the money you have kept, and check in on your gums. It is not released, and we never state a launch date, a price or an outcome we cannot back up. Join the early-access list below to hear about it once, on launch day.
